Michael, yes. As for the others I don't know. A lot of people from my generation say how they're not here for this new music. They still bump Tupac, TLC, Aaliyah. That's to name a few. I'm black so those are common among the urban community.

Yes.
"Hard Candy" wasn't Madonna best album. It was really her worst album that she put out, but I bet your ass if Madonna put out another Confessions on a Dance Floor album, she will be selling sky high than Hard Candy. Confessions on a Dance Floor also out did American Life and American Life came out before Confessions on a Dance. I'm sure Madonna next album will do better than Hard Candy.
For what Hard Candy was, it did real good.

It maybe her worst album, but what bad bitch can make the worst album and debuted at number-one in thirty-seven countries. No one except Madonna.

Yes, i dont mean outdated as completely useless xD but it was the only word i could think for the tittle except less popular which is obvious.
But if they had huge singles and succesful eras (and they probably will) in the future, their next era probably wouldnt be as succesful just like it happened with Mariah and Madonna in the 2000s.

I for one am glad someone new is reigning atop the pop throne. We all know the time has to come when one changes from popstar to legend and they are both in transition. They have both received legend awards just this year, they are both still going platinum, no matter how long it takes, they are both selling out live shows. They are both still the topic of discussion no matter where the coin lands. And they are both the longest surviving artists of our generation along with a few more people. They won't be outdated for a long time, and when they do become has beens, they will by the be legends so it won't matter. They've set records that will not be broken, broken records other people set, and done more than any girl of this generation of music can dream of doing. So the whole "she is outselling her right now" crap is ********, because we have been there and done that. Britney has a diamond album, Beyonce has spent 17 consecutive weeks at #1, they both have Grammy's, the record for most No.1 albums, and the list goes on. Play catch up first and then call them outdated, cause right now they're far ahead of their time.
Close Thread.

Their careers' are already in the same league as Madonna, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey. Whenever Bey or Brit release an album people will be interested in it, but to varying degrees (as seen by Madonna, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson).
They will never be irrelevant.
