When do u think gerls of the 90s will become outdated?
Ok so its weird to say but when do you think Britney, Beyonce, Xtina, artists that appeared on the late 90s will become ''outdated''? I mean irrelevant to the younger generation, its already happening with 4 and femme fatale, Obviously they will still be Important celebrities, artists and whenever they do something will be on tv but i hope you get my point, they eventually will not be as important as they are right now.
I for one am glad someone new is reigning atop the pop throne. We all know the time has to come when one changes from popstar to legend and they are both in transition. They have both received legend awards just this year, they are both still going platinum, no matter how long it takes, they are both selling out live shows. They are both still the topic of discussion no matter where the coin lands. And they are both the longest surviving artists of our generation along with a few more people. They won't be outdated for a long time, and when they do become has beens, they will by the be legends so it won't matter. They've set records that will not be broken, broken records other people set, and done more than any girl of this generation of music can dream of doing. So the whole "she is outselling her right now" crap is ********, because we have been there and done that. Britney has a diamond album, Beyonce has spent 17 consecutive weeks at #1, they both have Grammy's, the record for most No.1 albums, and the list goes on. Play catch up first and then call them outdated, cause right now they're far ahead of their time.

Co-signed. When you have that many "first," "most" and "best" records, you don't ever get forgotten and you don't ever become outdated. Thank you and good night.

Lets not get defensive lol, Madonna is a legend she is the Queen of Pop but do young people mostly listen to her not really, could we say she is outdated? Yes. Same with Michael Jackson, obviously there is young people who listen to them but a minority.
Lol @ at the people saying they wont become outdated, Im not saying young kids will not know who they are but even with all previous records they will become less and less of the younger's taste, This is just a prediction thread so i think in 5 years we will experience a lot of decline in their popularity
Is there anyone of 30+ years old here? i would like to know when did madonna, mariah, janet started becoming less and less popular.
