I ain't even amurrican.

But I lean towards the right wing here, because it's what we need. Our covernment is getting out of hand.

There are some things I don't agree with when it comes to Obama, but the man has also did a lot of good and some of the good he wanta to do is being overturned by Congress.

I honestly don't think the economy and our country as a whole is in the state that it is because of him. I think it's been **** for years and it's just finally starting to hit the fan. I do think Bush put us in this predicament and Obama is being blamed.

For the record, I think all politicians are full of ****, but Republicans are more ignorant and show it more.

God help us all if our terrible, mess of a current president is re-elected.

Though it's not like half of the Republicans that have announced that they're running in 2012 are any better.

How is he a mess?

I'm a registered Democrat but Obama is getting on my damn nerves with his attempts to play the center. The debt crisis highlighted is, as he had no problem giving in to more Republican demands to get something done. Under normal circumstances that's expected but when your proposed handling of the situation starts already on the right, how far Republican must one go to get something done that's fair to both sides.

The Democrats are coming off weak, the Republicans continue to look like they hate anyone who isn't a rich white man and the Tea Party makes me want to pry my eyes out since they don't seem to follow their own logic - if you want smaller government, why the hell are you pushing the anti-abortion anti-gays rhetoric around?

And Rick Perry and his bag of evangelical bull won't save the Republicans right now. The only one who seems to be thinking is Huntsman but since (a) he was the ambassador to China for Obama and (b) seems sane, he's already dead in the water. I expect the nod to either go to Romney (who'll lose a close one) or Bachmann (who will go down in flames).

The biggest morons in this country are poor/middle class people voting republicans for Presidency.

Some of you need to do your research on Michele and Marcus Bachmann and their anti-gay agenda. Her husband has gone as far as to say he's trying to cure homosexuality. Who can really support that except right-wing, judgmental conservatives who fear change.

I honestly think the Republicans are going to fight against ANYTHING Obama proposes so how can he really get anything done? I HATE the idea of bipartisanship. For the most part, it seems like the American gov't is a big ass battle between the Republicans and Democrats arguing over power and respect. There should be one party, united to govern and with a goal to better our people.

I highly doubt anything Obama proposes would deserve to be approved though. When it comes to fixing the economy, the guy just doesn't get it. At all.

The 2008 election was a total "lessor of the evils" mess. Ron Paul, McCain, etc. would've probably been even worse than Obama.

I just don't understand.... in the mid-terms people voted Republican to "show Obama"... which is by far the dumbest thing I've ever heard, cause now look at the mess. Your government is quite embrassing, there too busy fighting amongst themselves to do anything... well people are losing their jobs, and suffering.

People here complain about Stephen Harper and the conversatives... but in all honesty I'd take them over the liberals any day of the week....

I learned a looooong time ago that it's pointless to express my views on a forum where most people take the same attitude to politics that they do to stanning--they say the same things over and over again, and they will not take into consideration anything you have to say if it's not the same viewpoint.
