This would be a good idea.
I think there needs to be more gay relationships in more shows that children watch, such as Spongebob (where you can obviously tell he's gay...)
It's been a minute since I've seen Sesame Street so refresh my memory: are there any straight muppets on the show? I don't see why they would need to show a homosexual couple if there aren't heterosexual ones.
And I agree with DX7, they can get the message out without any of the character being gay.
