As if Selena Gomez topping her for a few weeks when her album has sold something like <1/10 as many copies in the United States and far less WW matters.

All of those #1 singles and Gaga will be passing her in album sales in the United States in the next few weeks, long since surpassed her WW.

I'm sure it kills her that she finds a way to remain the most relevant despite not dominating the charts with her singles (which she really was never incredible at doing in the first place).

I think she got her reality check from judas treatment. In addition there was the video of TEOG. I bet she noticed some reactions. I mean let's face it. She is very successful and all but she still has to give some sort of report to her record company. If let's say she lives in a bubble and doesn't get public's reaction, it's the responsibility of the record label to inform her and make her face the truth. At least if I was the record label I would do so in order to prevent a future disaster. I wonder how You&I video will turn out to be. One thing is for sure. It can't be worse than TEOG. Imagine if TEOG had a kick ass video. I am sure it would be even bigger hit.

I loved the Judas video, and I think that the people did too....it has more views than the 6 week number one.

I don't want to beat this to death because I feel like this conversation repeatedly comes up, but there is a huge difference between criticism and foolish negativity.

Gaga has never been the queen of the Hot 100, so it'd be nice if some people (you) would stop using that as the standard to judge her by. Her absolutely colossal singles Just Dance and Poker Face, 2 of the 3 best-selling singles of the digital era only earned a combined 3 weeks at #1. I mean, let's face it: sure Poker Face was MASSIVE, but it got completely stomped in the US by Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling.

Fast forward to her next truly memorable single release, Bad Romance. That song got obliterated by Tik Tok. Born This Way reigns with a domination she has never had (for whatever reason you want to attribute it to) and all you people do is complain about the era. The fact is, the only mistakes she's made this era are the mistakes her fans BEGGED her to. She released Judas because EVERYONE bitched endlessly about the next Bad Romance and I'm sure her label thought that there would be a market for it. The Edge of Glory video was a disaster, but it was a disaster that I saw everyone on this website begging for for weeks.

In the end, she has never had the chart control of a Katy Perry. Adding Selena Gomez into the picture is pathetic and foolish. I'm sure next you'll be claiming Kidz Bop evidences her decline because they debuted higher than her album's current position? I mean, at some point you have to realize that she's sold 4 million copies of her album WW, produced 3 top 10 hits, 2 very successful singles and continues to maintain a control over pop culture that few, if any, artists this generation have.

To me, TEOG video is the biggest failure of this era.
