I was reading the most powerful black women thread and some members asked why there was a black list and not a white one then the members were bitching about it and saying because there is way more richer white women than black women which is true.

So do you think race inequality will ever cease to exist?

An example: Right now African-American women earn just 64 cents to every dollar earned by white men, and Hispanic women earn merely 52 cents per dollar.

I guess the answer im getting is that it will never happen, , at least in my country people of native american origin are earning more and more, my country was once a colony so white people until the 1980s were very ahead of native american people but now in 2011 you see lot of rich native americans, there is still poor native americans but 40 years ago you could practically say 90% of peruvians that were native american were poor now it would be only like 20% poor and the rest middle class or up

It's only a matter of time. With the races being equal under the law, reality should reflect this more and more as the decades pass. But in the case of the US, we probably won't live to see the day.

Not just race, but gender too. If you compare the income of blacks and women from today to 50, 60 years ago, we've sure came a long way, but there's still more room for improvements. The average black women only has $100 of wealth. That means most black women are living paycheck to paycheck.

I just wish the privileged white males of ATRL would realize that gay rights isn't the only major issue in America. I hate how they quickly dismiss anything "black women" unless it's about a new gif they created....
