I have a question: Do us gays ever fit in? It seems like in today's society it's really difficult for gays to find respect. All I ever see is guys looking down upon gays as the "*******, faggs, sissy's.." and straight up BITCHES because they aren't what they would call "Masculine". While woman/girls mostly show support and stick up for Gays but really all they do is treat them like their sidekick/advice-giver. Always complaining and going to the "Gay friend" for advice. When your Gay people label you, and you become nothing more than that word. It makes everything from Communicating, to Relationships to just plain LIFE more difficult. My question to you is: Do YOU fit in? Are you more than just a simple diary page for a friend? Do guys act normal towards you? Do you believe you fit in with society? Or do you just feel like a mis-understood outcast?...

P.S: Mind you, everything I said I'm just speaking of MY experiences. I'm not saying they reflect ALL gays. **

Even if it weren't gay, I still wouldn't fit in. I've always been a loner just doing my own thing.

You can totally fit in anywhere you want to. Gays are everywhere. Just be proud, dignified, and assertive and you will command respect!

Im not out so i have the opposite problem. I fit in with straight guys rather than gay guys.

Ive had a lot of bad experiences with gay guys too so im worried about coming out to more people that i wont fit in anywhere.

It's sorta the same situation for me..but the people around me know I'm BI (not the guys, just girls.) I always figure once they do find out I'm BI (I figure it's easier for ppl to swallow, than me just coming out saying I'm GAY) they're gonna basically cut me off... It's hard.

That's true. But I had like the same situation. I only came out to 2 friends of mine. None had any problems with it and it all went good nothing was wrong with it. A few years later one friend probably thought I had a crush on him when I don't even think he's attractive or something. But okay, I think he thought that because I can't think of another reason.

Gay guys arent all glitter and rainbows there are some bad mother****ers out there and I seem to attract them.

I honestly never thought about it I don't think people look down on me for it though.. But I do get a lot of crap for it. It's not anything out of the ordinary though... I get made fun of more for worshiping Gaga, lol...

Most people assume that if a guy is to come out to a select few of friends as bi that he's most probably gay.

Yes. I force respect. Scare respect into em. True tea. Most respected and liked gay person in my school. And it shall stay that way if no one wants to lose some weave.
