This is one of Britney most successful single eras in the US, but her album sales are really weak.
Beyonce's album sales are good but her singles are weak. Beyonce's overall era is probably gonna end up bigger in the long-run. The fact that she's seeing success when she hasn't hit gold with a single yet (and it's more than likely bound to happen) says a lot. Britney has had a couple of months head start and Beyonce is already catching up.

critics liked femme fatale. Both had the same album peak, and as far as longevity goes you can't judge beyonce on that bc the album basically just came several weeks ago.
