Chris Anokute is an A&R executive. While at Capitol Records he oversaw artists including Katy Perry, Joss Stone and Varsity Fanclub. He is currently Senior Vice-President of A&R at Universal Motown.

No way! It will sell 260k max!
If we consider PRA will sell less than 200k and the difference between PRA & LFN with MLJ is about 25%, I cant see how will MLJ will sell that much!
I don't really know whether I like the remix or not, but it makes me angry, what some people write about her. They are just jealous 'cause she's got the chance to tie Michael Jackson's record. (And I'm pretty sure that she will.) And if you had this chance, wouldn't you try? Saying "no" would be kinda hypocritical, I think.

+1
I make the same mistake about "breaking the Record" all the time, but yes she'll tie the record!
Katy wanted Peacock as the 4th single. She was battling it out for a quite time with her label.
After LFN there's supposed to be new single. Katy wants Peacock, Capitol wants new song for Deluxe Edition.
Deluxe Edition is supposed to be released in fall 2011 with 3 brand new tracks including Rihanna new single, that they want feature on both Katy/Rihanna records.
Katy's acting unbearable to her label and don't want to record any new song nor release any new material because she believes it's not worthy of receiving release treatment. So she's willing to give her track (that's supposed to be on her Deluxe album) to Rihanna.
Capitol wants bigger profit of it so they want it to be on Katy's new edition. Anyways,Katy's acting like a "spoiled little brat" and giving them headaches these past weeks. There's huge possibility of it not getting released at all. Capitol was mastering 2 new tracks last week. And this was last pm (the guy) is not sure what's going on now. What they're going to do.
He was right about her VMA noms so I don't know what to think. But this sound so real
I dont think that tweet is so suspicous. They must be friends or something.? But how knows
edit: you got me excited Sammi. A&R are usually called when an artist needs to get in contact to her producers to talk about past or future recordings.
