And everyone and their momma can certainly sing at least one Beatles song. Yesterday is a classic and the most covered song of all times. Let It Be and Help are also massively well known
Gerls, educate yourselves. These three albums, together, ignited the electropop movement that has come to define pop music of the late 00s and early 10s.
These albums remain among the most influential of the 00s. They represent a turning point in pop.
Except that Timbaland/Danja sound is already dated as hell.
FS/LS is a modern pop classic, I'll give you that. BO is extremely overrated. I only remember 2 songs from Nelly's album.

Both Beyonce and Gaga are going to have to find a way to keep their albums alive until the holidays. By then, BTW will have sold at least 5M and 4 will have sold at least 2M...if they can keep some fire in them until November, they'll be fine. It won't be easy. Lack of huge singles are making them sink...
Born This Way will be fine in the short run, but I am seriously beginning to be concerned as to the future of 4. I thought that Best Thing would smash, and it's not doing much at the moment. EOT imo would be a changing point for the album.
I'm actually pretty sure you know at least 5 beatles songs. Did you forget that their Greatest Hits which was just released in 2000 was the best selling album worlwide of the last decade?
Sis, if I knew a Beatles song I would have said I did.
I love your paragraphs upon paragraphs of Blackout (Good album, I must say)
but I believe the title says "How will history remember FF, BTW & 4?".
I do not see blackout in the title, so why is everyone going off topic?
I think if we are talking longevity, cultural impact & influence, and general critical and commercial opinion...the Beatles >> MJ. MJ trumps the overwhelming majority of artists/bands in history, but the Beatles are near untouchable. And btw, I am a fan of neither so I am not biased or pressed here
