I loooove horror films...Me and my best friend are proper horror nuts. We have watched a large number of crappy horror films, We've watched all the Texas Chainsaw Massacres, Nightmare on Elm Streets, Friday the 13THs and Psychos.

He isn't a fan of foreign horrors...mainly because he doesn't like subtitles, but I fully believe they are scarier, the Japanese "The Grudge" is definitely scarier than the remake. I've got the Japanese "The Ring" to watch as well...and I've just ordered "Rec" to watch as well =D

Can someone PLEASE explain to me the ending of the remake of Night at Elm Street when Freddy comes out of the mirror and takes the girl's mom.

Wasn't he supposed to be dead? Since she killed him in the real world? I was really confused

Typical "Hollywood" horror ending.

They just make something non-sense so they'll leave a cliffhanger. There's no reasonable explanation for that ending, just that Freddy's alive and they're gonna make another movie

Did you actually think they killed Freddy Kreuger? They needed him to be alive for one final "scare" at the end.

Its basic Hollywood horror movie ending. You think the killer's dead and gone, and then BAM there he is.

And they wanted the legroom just in case they want to cash in and make another billion sequels

Love this movie after it ended i just sat there and look at the screened for a couple of minutes as I was literally drained.

So glad i found this thread i love horror films, from slashers, to suspense, supernatural and i've pretty much seen all of the ones mentioned here,.Great thread.

Can you guys give me a list of some films that made u scream in front of your TV ? when you jump u know, i need to watch some of these movies (I already saw The Descent and omg it was so awesome)

I mean, you would think you would get bored of watching the Scream quadrilogy, but you just don't.

I dont know about anyone else but I screamed in the cinema (which was pretty embarassing, considering almost everybody else didn't) watching 'The Strangers' - not the best plot but its SCARY
