All I am gonna say, is that I'm glad my fave *cough Lady Gaga* doesn't need to remix to sell albums or singles, nor does Adele.... I guess that's what happens when you actually have talent
Real artists don't mess w/ those kinds of remixes tbh

Accept it's #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #4 on iTunes.
Oh, and let's not forget Lady Gaga NOR Interscope were affiliated with Amazon selling Born This Way for 99 cents. It was Amazon's decision to bring more customers to their new music player & they suffered, not Gaga

Oh please, that's bull and you know it. There would be a major lawsuit if Amazon decided to discount it without Interscope or Gaga's consent.

You do realize that Amazon used the Born This Way album as a way to promote their ****** Cloud service, correct? They lost money to discount Born This Way at such steep prices but Interscope still got the same amount of money they would've gotten if Amazon sold it for iTunes/store price. The label gets a set amount of money out of each copy, and whatever price Amazon chooses to sell it for is solely up to them.
Gaga would have sold more then 668,000 copies even if it wasn't discounted... And it still would have reached #1 so how is that "chart manipulation" x2

You apparently do not know how music sales, let alone the music industry, work. Amazon is free to sell the album for whatever the **** they want, as are retail stores that sell physical copies. Interscope gets the same money either way because albums are sold to retailers at a wholesale cost. Amazon was trying to promote their new cloud service so they took the loss in hopes of getting promotion for its new service.
I believe Billboard already explained this several times:

You tried, though.
But Interscope had to have knowingly agreed to this as long as they got their set amount of money.

A label wouldn't give a damn if it was given out for free as a bundle with a customized tissue box so long as they got their set amount of money with each album sent out. Why would they have to agree on how much it was sold for by Amazon?

Because it could hurt them in the long run? Sale rates dropped by 85%, one of the biggest in history. Keep making excuses, but you know her marketing team was involved with the Amazon deal.
