i love scary stories, but remember some on the internet might not be true.
i have a few sort of 'religious' stories. they're not scary exactly except for a story that my grandpa told me about how he witnessed an exorcism. whether you believe it or not, thats your choice i guess.
also, there was a rumour that my old school had a ghost in the old abandoned toilets that no one used anymore. one day my friend had to go in there and she came back and was acting really weird lol

Here's what I read in creepypasta
One night, a girl was answering a call, when she hears a boy. He tells the girl that he was her "secret admirer", but the girl refused to believe it, and tells the boy to get off, but the boy keeps ignoring every word that the girl has said. Finally, the boy told the girl that he was coming over to her house and take the phone off. This made the girl very frightened, so she locked all the doors and windows, and decided to sleep with her younger sister. However, the girl then heard knocking noises on the window. She goes up to it, but saw nothing, and thought that the noise was from a branch. So the girl went up to her sister's bed, and could smell a horrible odor. She checked to see what it was, and found that her sister had been murdered. The sight of the girl's sister's corpse made her panic, so she hid in the closet just in case the murderer was in the room. She did not know what to do. Then, the girl looked through the cracks of the closet door, and spotted a man walking toward the closet. When he got up to the girl, he got her out of the closet, and killed her.
The next morning, the parents of the 2 sisters found their corpses. They had been flayed and hung.
2 years after the murder, the parents had a new baby. The room where the sisters had been murdered became the baby boy's room.
Possibly 12 years later, the boy was on his computer, using the Yahoo! Instant Messenger, when he got a message. The user who sent the message told the boy that she was his older sister, but the boy refused to believe because he was an only child, and that his parents did not say anything about the girl. So the boy replied to her and said that he was an only child, and that if he had a sister, his parents would have told him. But then the girl told the boy that she died 15 years ago, in 1993, with her younger sister.
The girl also told the boy to look down on the closet floor for proof that she had been killed. The girl then signed off, leaving the boy confused. So he opened his closet, and found carvings on the floor.
The next morning, the boy went downstairs. it so very quiet when he got there. he thought that his parents were still sleeping in their bed. However, a few hours later, he found his parents hanging in their closet, dead. They were skinned alive.
He then found carvings underneath the hanging corpses, and it wrote: "I TOLD I WASN'T LYING. LITTLE BROTHER, I LOVED MOM AND DAD....BUT THEY KEPT ME AS A SECRET. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. WELL, I'M FREE FROM THIS COLD WORLD. I WON'T HURT YOU LIKE HOW THEY DIED. I LOVE YOU!

A doctor and a nurse boarded the elevator.
When suddenly a hysterical woman in a hospital gown was running towards them waving her arms screaming, “wait! wait! hold the door!
Just when the woman was about to get in, the doctor frantically pressed the “close” button.
The nurse, annoyed by the doctor’s insensitivity, glared at the doctor and said,
‘I cant believe you did that! You can see she was rushing to get in and you did not even bother to “hold” the door. That was really rude of you, doctor!
The young doctor, his face pale from disbelief, beads of cold sweat forming in his forehead; turned to the nurse and said,
“ Didn’t you notice the tag on her wrist?” SHE WAS WEARING A RED TAG!
She was my patient and she died a couple of hours ago”
The nurse, sensing the fear in the young doctor’s voice; slowly raised her hand so that the doctor can see her wrist.
“ RED TAG? You mean, like this one?”

Yes! I love creepypasta! Here's my favourite:
"There was a hunter in the woods, who, after a long day hunting, was in the middle of an immense forest. It was getting dark, and having lost his bearings, he decided to head in one direction until he was clear of the increasingly oppressive foliage. After what seemed like hours, he came across a cabin in a small clearing. Realizing how dark it had grown, he decided to see if he could stay there for the night. He approached, and found the door ajar. Nobody was inside. The hunter flopped down on the single bed, deciding to explain himself to the owner in the morning.
As he looked around the inside of the cabin, he was surprised to see the walls adorned by several portraits, all painted in incredible detail. Without exception, they appeared to be staring down at him, their features twisted into looks of hatred and malice. Staring back, he grew increasingly uncomfortable. Making a concerted effort to ignore the many hateful faces, he turned to face the wall, and exhausted, he fell into a restless sleep.
The next morning, the hunter awoke - he turned, blinking in unexpected sunlight. Looking up, he discovered that the cabin had no portraits, only windows."
Love it.

I was searching for a Ouija board back in summer 2005 and finally found one at a yard sale. Me and a couple of my friends and cousins got together and played it at one of their houses. We played it in the kitchen with the lights off, candles lit. We moved that planchette thing around in a circle to get the board warmed up. It took awhile before anything happened, but we finally got to speak to someone; a little boy named Rob.
Rob was 5 years old. I can't remember if he said he died in the house or not. We checked to see if anyone was moving the planchette by removing a finger as we went around the table. No one was moving it. We talked to Rob for about 20 minutes. We asked him if he knew he was dead and he said yes. I felt so sad for the little boy. I literally was crying for him... No one else at the table cried.
Rob stopped answering us a little while later.
I still have the board, but the planchette disappered. I think my grandmother threw it away, lol. I keep the board in a box. I haven't played it since that night, mostly because no one wants to play it with me. I'm thinking about buying another.
-----------
Before I had a real Ouija board, I made one out of a piece of notebook paper. I used a penny as the planchette and played alone. Nothing happened. I woke up the next morning and threw up, tho. I was sick for two days afterward. I threw the piece of paper away.
I have 2 other stories. This scared the **** out of me.
I remember this one time when I was 7 years old my brother and I were sharing a room. It was time for us to go to bed, but I wanted to stay up because the Grammys were on tv and my mom, grandma, grandpa, uncle and a couple other relatives were downstairs watching it. They didn't let me be suse it wouldn't have been over until 11 or 12. So my brother and I get into our beds and my brother fell asleep after like ten minutes. I was trying to stay up to hear the performances on tv and about an hour later I saw legs and feet standing in front if the door. I had the covers over my head and I was terrified. The legs had on white pants, the kind you'd were to wedding. The legs tapped it's left foot and they didn't dissapear until I fell asleep.
The other experience I had is when I was 14. I moved with my grandparents to their new house. The first night I slept in my room I was really uncomfortable. The room was extremely big and empty for the most part, except for my bed, chair, tv and entertainment stand. I felt uneasy for the next few weeks. Then towards the end of the first month I lived there, something really scary happened. I turned off the light and got into bed and a couple minutes later I felt something pushing me into the bed. It felt like something was on top of me and was pushing down. I was extremely scared. It was really hot the room but I still had two blankets on me and my head was covered. I was too scared to move and fell asleep that way. I told my grandma the next day and she just laughed. We don't live there anymore, though.
--------
I'm watching Ghost Hunters and I have goosebumps, lol. Anyway, I feel extra sensitive towards this kind of thing, like I can sense when something's there. It scares the hell out of me sometimes.

IDK any scary ghost stories, but I had a scary ****ing nightmare the other night. I don't remember specific details anymore, but I was in a creepy abandoned house in the woods with two mysterious men. They left me in an pitch black, upstairs room and at one point I heard something (it didn't sound human) come upstairs and it was knocking chairs around as it came closer to me. I think I skipped to a scene with my friend and she wanted to go there and I ****ing begged at her feet to not take me back. When I woke up, it was still dark out mind you. If I remembered all of the details I could have banked big bucks on a blockbuster horror movie.

Here are some other good ones.
The Licked Hand
A beautiful young girl is left home alone with only her dog to protect her. On the news that night, they announced there is a serial killer on the loose in the area. Before she goes to bed, she locks all the doors and tries to lock all the windows, but the one in the basement won't lock. She decides to leave it unlocked, but locks the basement door and goes to bed. Her dog takes its customary place under her bed.
In the deep of night she awakens to a dripping sound coming from her bathroom. Half-awake, the girl feels the comforting lick from her dog and falls back to sleep. She reawakens to the dripping sound, reaches her hand down to the dog where she feels the reassuring lick and falls back to sleep. Once more, she awakens to the dripping sound. She reaches her hand down and feels the lick of her dog.
Now curious about the dripping sound, she gets up and slowly walks towards the bathroom, the dripping sound getting louder as she approaches. She reaches the bathroom and turns on the light. She is greeted by a horrific sight; hanging from the shower nozzle is her dog with its throat slit open and its blood dripping into the bathtub.
Something on the bathroom mirror catches her eye; she turns around. Written on the wall in her dog's blood are the words "Humans can lick too."
A Mother's Love
One afternoon, a couple was traveling on by car when at a far distance they saw a woman in the middle of the road, waving frantically.
The wife told her husband to keep on driving because it might be too dangerous, but the husband decided to pass by slowly so he wouldn't stay with the doubt on his mind of what might have happened and the chances of anyone being hurt. As they got closer, they noticed a woman with cuts and bruises on her face as well as on her arms. They then decide to stop and see if they could be of any help.
The cut and bruised woman was begging for help telling them that she had been in a car accident and that her husband and son, a new born baby, were still inside the car which was in a deep ditch. She told them that the husband was already dead but that her baby seemed to still be alive.
The husband that was traveling decided to get down and try to rescue the baby and he asked the hurt woman to stay with his wife inside the their car. When he got down he noticed two people in the front seats of the car but he didn't pay any attention to it and took out the baby quickly and got up to take the baby to it's mother. When he got up, he didn't see the mother anywhere so he asked his wife where she had gone. She told him that the woman followed him back to the crashed car.
When the husband went back to look for her, he noticed that clearly the couple in the front seats were dead, one of whom was unmistakeably the woman who had flagged them down.
The Railroad
My cousin and I had gone to San Antonio, and we had heard rumors of some haunted railroad tracks. The story was, a school bus full of children had stalled on these tracks with a train coming. The train was going too fast for there to be time to get the children off. So they all died. When we finally found the tracks, we stopped the car, parking it right on the railroad tracks. We were both a little nervous, and scared, and waited for something to happen. Just when we were about to leave, the car started rolling. We were both too freaked out to do any more than grab each other and gasp, eyes wide, mouths open. After what seemed like an eternity, (but was actually less than five minutes tops) the car stopped rolling. We looked around, and we were off the railroad tracks.
Now, that may not seem spooky, but what we saw next scared us enough to jump back in the car and make the six hour trip home THAT NIGHT. Both of us got out of the car and walked around to the back. After the first six hour drive, our car had accumulated quite a bit of dust on it. That's not scary, no. But what was scary was the little sets of handprints all over the back of the car. All the size of children's hands.
Home Alone
You are home alone, and you hear on the news about the profile of a murderer who is on the loose. You look out the sliding glass doors to your backyard, and you notice a man standing out in the snow. He fits the profile of the murderer exactly, and he is smiling at you.
You gulp, picking up the phone to your right and dialing 911. You look back out the glass as you press the phone to your ear, and notice he is much closer to you now.
You then drop the phone in shock. There are no footprints in the snow.
It's his reflection."
Wake Up
It has been reported that some victims of torture, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren’t being tortured. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP.
