Forget crossdressing, cross-stanning is the new in thing. Everybody's doing it, stanning for Beyonce and Britney at the same time. Then when there's a Britney - Beyonce stan war, they throw one of them under the bus for the other.

Or worse still, those who stan for a certain artist just to be cool and fit in with the big guns.

And I used Beyonce and Britney as examples, nothing more.

It's like, so much more boring if you support absolutely everybody on this site! It's exciting when the stans fight and stan fights are occurring less and less frequently now and cross-stanning is to blame!

I can think of one Brit stan who has even expressed strongly to like Beyonces new album but ok. People on this site take "stanning" way too seriously, it's really annoying if you have one pop girl in your avatar and you're not even allowed to say something nice about another pop girl because people will start attacking you.

You're also attacked if you say that the artist you stan for has flaws. Some Britney stans quite often attack me because I stan for Justin despite of his history with Britney. I simply stan for the music and artists I love.

I stan for both Britney and Enrique.

I think people use the term stan too loosely. I'm a super fan of many singers but Avril is the only person I'll stan for.

I could do this for a bunch of other artists...but I believe the idea is clear. There is always one artist the demands your true loyalty.

I stan for 3 people. MJ, Brit, and Gaga. If there's a stan war going on with Brit and Gaga fans, I'll avoid it unless I have something to say or want to defend one of them or whatever. Sometimes I end up defending Brit, and other times I end up defending Lady Gaga. I guess it just depends. It's not that hard to cross-stan, though.
