I thought Christina and Pink don't get along? That would be pretty freakin' awesome. I would Love a kick-ass, boy bashing song with KC and Miranda at some point.

Oh speaking of country.... next Wed. the CMA committee will be sending in round 2 of voting for the CMA Awards. So do we know any people who are members of that? haha. Second round of voting starts the 9th and ends the 23/24? Nominees announced early Sept; show Nov. 9. I hope KC and Jason get nominated for at least Musical event of the year! Maybe even song/single of the year nomination? This song was great for the two of them and a nice treat for us fans having to wait an extra year for album #5.
Don't you wanna stay is probably the biggest country hit this year, the fact that it was three weeks at #1 and that it crossover to hac, ac and pop it deserves song/single of the year imo.
I think Thompson's Square was the biggest hit. It did well on other format as well. Keep in mind some voters are very old school and only care about the Country Charts and some are new school and like that artists are spreading Country to other formats too. DYWS is currently #2 in country radio for this year.
However, I think this has been Jason's year! He's had the #1 country album of the year, been in the top 10 for months, and 3 #1's! I think that might help them a little, since country voters tend to be all friends and go for the 'it' people in country like Miranda and Blake last year.
The radio people were very vocal on how big they all believed the song would be when it first came out, DYWS had a HUGE AI on mediabase, they set a digital record, #1 for 3 wks. All of that will totally help them. The CMA's and ACM's are the ones voted by their peers in the industry so those are the two award shows I'm crossing my fingers for.
HAHA I can tell! That's good. I like seeing this thread on the top section. We should all try keeping it at least on the first page from now until the single is out.
Yes we will make this thread bigger then Pulse

Not too sure of them winning single or song, but would be cool to be nominated. I think Blake, Billy and Thompson Square are good picks.
or you can just look it up on youtube, lol. I think it's under Kelly Clarkson chart show.
Gotta love Kelly's child-like spirit... sticking half of her body out of the window in a limo, hahaha. Tomorrow's event will help benefit The Human League has the P.L.A.Y. program, P.L.A.Y. being an acronym for Positive Leisure Activities for Youth, where we pay for students to participate in extracurricular activities, whether that be sport, music, dance, art, anything outside of classroom hours. Concert starts at 7:30 PM EDT... I think that's an hour ahead of Eastern Time Zone? So 5:30 PM for me in TX. YAY! I can catch the show before I go out. .... oh Kelly's London Live is starting on TeenNick now!!
Ok so after the London Live show they aired TeenNick's Obsessed This: Kelly Clarkson. They showed her music videos: MLWSWY, BOY, SUBG, IDNHU, AG, BTHE. A lot of people on twitter seemed to have liked the hour-long KC block tonight! Yay to pre-promo promo, haha.
Oh how I have missed seeing KC on TV. The TeenNick thing was fun tonight! Next Sunday (Aug. 14) don't forget to watch CMA Music Fest airing on ABC. Here's a little promo for that. It shows KC for a nano-second at :03. Kelly will do a little interview w/ Jason and of course they sing "Don't You Wanna Stay". http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=CTVDSFhzrcA
Here's a fan's recording of their performance. Horrible camera skills, lol but the audio is alright. Can't wait to see it with professional cameras and up close.
Don't think so, but a lot of people will be tweeting and some will try to video tweet some parts? is that what it's called? lol Just keep an eye out. Plus, KC fans are dedicated. A show will end and like a few hours later the whole show will be on youtube, lol.

Some people are just dead awful though at recording and such.
