I'd be damned if I had to put some mess out there just because it'd allow others to "breath easier".

I don't think they should come out unless they want to. It's their life, and if they want something like that to be private, then it should be kept private.

I'm making the point that certain celebrities are so open about their private lives that it makes folks think every celebrity should follow suit. A lot of them do do it for attention.
Well of course it has nothing to do with their job, but I'm talking from a consciousness standpoint. Does a gay celebrity, with fame and power to possibly sway public opinion, owe it to the LGBTQ community to come out and positively represent them?

They don't have too, that is their personal life and their business... but they certainly shouldn't "pretend" to be straight either. That is when it's not okay for me...

I'd agree with definitely... maybe it's just me wishing I had gay men to look up to when I was growing up... although no one should be forced to be a role model other than like...family.
No, celebrities are like regular people. If they're not ready to come out, they shouldn't be obligated to do so. It's harder for actors to do so because they don't want to be type cast. For example like Matt Bomer from "White Collar" who is married to a man and has kids, yet still hasn't came out publicly.
No one should ever be outed, in celebria or in real life. BUT...I think if they feel secure in their career, that they should come out. Visibility is one of the most important steps to acceptance and equality. All in their own time, of course.
