Many claim she's "over" and though I don't think she'll ever be as big as she once was (whatever that means to you) I still think she can go on to have a successful career with the right music, rumor has it her next album will have elements of Stripped & Back to basics. Both albums were highly successful. I find it funny when people say her career is a wrap just because one album sold very poorly. She's the voice of our generation imo.

iasfm, I think she takes too much time off between albums, which is good but kinda dangerous when you're a commercial pop star like she is, but I also appreciate how she isn't up in our faces 24/7 popping out albums every year like some of her peers who shall remain name less.

Christina Aguilera's problem is she doesn't have a lock on any niche in the pop game. She changes TOO much with each album and as a result, loses the core fanbase she built with the previous record.

So when she did 'Bionic' after 'Back to Basics', it looked extremely try-hard, desperate and out of nowhere.

She also has a huge reputation for being a bitch and I think that's why many aren't really "rooting" for her.

Her discography also isn't really memorable, despite her fantastic voice. She's known for her voice, not really known for her material, though she does have some really good tracks.

She shouldn't be doing the whole "I NEVER QUIT OR SLEEP" thing like Gaga, and she shouldn't be doing the whole "I'm as rare as a whooping crane" thing like Madonna. She should be like Britney, dKaty, and Adele and release an album (or at least something new) every 2 years. 2 years is the sweet spot for most artists. It give them a chance to promote, get 3 good singles, and tour. Then they work for 8 months and put out another one.
