I doubt she will just ditch her hip-hop roots behind just because she got this much success with a pop song, although I won't be surprised if she put 3-4 pop-friendly songs in there to cater to a bigger audience. She's more than just a niche artist now, can't keep herself in a box forever. It's part of her growth as an artist and if you're really a stan of hers then you have to respect that.
Anyway, I'm so glad Super Bass is smashing so hard. From the moment I heard Taylor try to rap it, I immediately listened to the track itself, and fell in love.
