Have you ever been gay BASHED?
I was just reading a story about a young man here in NYC who had been severely beaten because he was gay. I was just wondering have any of you ever been gay bashed?
When I say bashed, I don't only mean beaten or hurt. Have any of you ever been harrassed or bullied or listened while people may have made disparaging comments about you? And if so, how did you react? Did you walk away, did you respond?

I'm bisexual, and Hell yes. Countless times, but it's only gotten physical twice. One time, a group of kids in my neighborhood kept calling me a "***", and it lead to a huge argument, which ended up with someone grabbing my shoulders, kicking my legs out from under me, and leaving me with a broken arm. Second was just me getting punched a few times; no horrible damage.

Ugh.
Looking back at my childhood, I remember a boy that grew up in my neighborhood used to go through the same thing. Kids can horribly cruel.
Did you tell your parents about it?

Yes. Well, I told my godfather, but he doesn't know I'm bisexual, and I ended up just telling him that they were accusing me of being gay, because I'm rather scared to tell him I'm bisexual.
I came out last May, and the incident with me breaking my arm was in October. I was still 12. I still get made fun of and bitched at, though.

People say stuff about me at school. Like people straight up ask me if I'm gay sometimes 
Or if I hear people talking about me I just ignore them and act like I didn't hear them because I'm a *****.

I was gay bashed once. It wasn't fun and it hella hurt me a lot. I lost many friends.

In High School, this girl started a rumor about how me and my best friend were in a relationship, mind you, I was not out.
People would dead come up and say, "I heard you was gay" and then get upset when I didn't respond. People just don't know how rude and intruding a question that is.

Yeah, I'm 13 Most people are like, "You're 13! You can't know that you like other boys!", yet they're like, "You can know if you're straight, though." and I'm like, "If I can know I'm straight, but not know that I'm NOT straight... then what the f-? WHERE'S YOUR LOGIC?!" It's ridiculous, being limited by my age.
But yes, I'm hoping it will just be a laugh later in life

My friend committed suicide 3 years ago in the 8th grade because he was bullied for being gay. People always said stuff about him, it never really bothered him, so he said but I guess it really did. I'd stick up for him but he'd always tell me not to because it'd make him look worse.
Bullies suck!!! I never understood why people cared and made fun of other people because of their sexual orientation. Its so stupid and pointless. Why do people care if someone is straight or not?

People don't understand kids begin to learn and know about sex at a young age.
For some gay and bi-sexual individuals, they knew they were "different" when they were playing in the sandbox in Pre-K.
