R&B star Kelly Rowland has teamed up with rap mogul Sean Combs to front the advertising campaign for his first women's fragrance.
The hip-hop entrepreneur launched his men's scent, I Am King, for his Sean Jean fashion brand in 2008 and he recently announced plans for Empress, a perfume featuring fruity and floral notes.
And he has chosen former Destiny's Child beauty Rowland to help promote the fragrance.
She tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood, "I'm the ambassador for Empress. I just love what 'empress' represents, it's just women who are beautiful and powerful in their own right."
The perfume will be launched at U.S. department store MACy's in August (11).
Wow what a great year for Kelly. She has a hot album out being wiped off thr shelves of every major store in the us. She's everywhere with all of this promo. She's burning up the charts. She's racking up endorsements.
