This is Arkansas? Not surprised. Honestly everything below the Mason Dixon line should be a separate country. Most of the idiocy is concentrated in the southern states and it reflects badly on the rest of America.

That is just ridiculous. Seriously. It's people like this that set equality back 100 years.

Yet again people:

1) The actual discrimination issue here probably has a LOT more to do with the teen mom factor than the black factor.
2) It's starting to look like she had a covaledictorian because that's how the school's system worked which makes this whole thing a bit petty. :/

Sorry guys, but I just think there HAS to be more to this story that what is being published. This is 2011 and while I still believe racism exists, I don't believe that a school district would be THAT stupid to pull something like this. The principal knows the kid will complain; he knows that a race issue like that could raise a major lawsuit that would cost him his job AND money from a school that can't afford to lose any. I just find it hard to believe that an entire district would dig itself into something this crazy.

I'm all against racism - I'm not endorsing the school in any way. But I feel like there's more to it than what we're being presented.

Someone in this town played the race card once. A black lady had her kid enrolled in the best school this town has, but she lived out of boundaries. The way it works is that you attend the public school within your home's boundaries. Now, this lady lived way out of the boundaries and was caught. Her child had to be withdrawn to the other school. She went to the news and cried racism - that it was because of her child's skin color. It was embarrassing to watch on the news. Nevermind that many other kids have been withdrawn from these schools for the same boundaries issue.

She did her thing and she better get the praise she deserves. It's not her fault the lessor white kids couldn't keep up. A hot ass mess.

That's sick.

Oh please, I moved from Texas to Boston, and people are WAY more ****ing segregated and racist up here, because they don't ever actually live with people of minority status.
