No. The reason I say Britney didn't make S&M go #1 is because it wasn't Britney herself who made it happen. It was the remix in general that made it happen.

lol it's still basically the same thing, and the track is more like an extended mix than it is a "remix" (i.e. Beyonce & Gaga with 'Video phone') -- Brit. just recorded her small part which was added to the original.

But Britney still made it go number one. It could have been anyone, but Britney was picked to do the job. Deal with it I guess.

Yes and the people saying it's the remix. First of all it wasn't really much of a remix because the instrumental still sounds the same as the original. The only difference is Britney's vocal's added.
