Kinda shocked One Tree Hill didn't even make top ten. How well do teen dramas such as The OC usually do? Just curious.

One Tree Hill is on the WB or UPN, i forget which one. It is very rare (or maybe I should say an exception) for a show on one of those networks to hit the top 10 for the night.
The O.C. averages between 6-7 million per episode, about on par with last season.
Season 1 was seeing about 8-9 million with the season finale topping 10 million.
So it's down, but at least it's consistent now. And what show has created a cult following like the O.C.? Hardly any, except the likes of Family Guy. DVD sales are better than shows with 4x the ratings (ie. Desperate Housewives, CSI, etc)

Yup, no need to explain. Roger is exactly right. The OC is down from it's premiere year, but that's kinda of expected, because there's no huge buzz about it anymore. I highly doubt that FOX would go and cancel it, I think they will let it play out by themselves until The OC decideds to end (I give another year or two)
One Tree Hill is down from last year, but I would not expect it to make a top 10 just because of it being on the netlets (OTH is on the WB, which is neck in neck with the other netlet, UPN. The highest a show does there is if lucky, 5-6 million a night.) It's not that it's a flop, it's just it'll never see the numbers that ABC and CBS do. At one time, FOX was considered a netlet, and just up until a few years ago, it did amazing, thanks to "American Idol" and any other FOX hits. At one time, FOX was beating ABC, but thanks to "Desperate Housewives", "Lost", "Extreme Makeover: HE", and "Commander In Chief", it's not possible, at least for now. (You WILL see a rise in FOX's total ratings when 'Idol' returns in January, as well as '24', and even if FOX switches it's schedule like rumored and has 'House' as it's lead-out.)

Thursday
Without question, CBS took the top spot once again with 18.6 million. "Survivor" (14.4 million), "CSI" (22.0 million), "Without A Trace" (18.4 million) lead the line-up.
[Taking a flashback look, 'Survivor' is down 20% from last year, 'Trace' is up 18%, and 'CSI' stays the same]
NBC was 2nd with "Joey", "Will & Grace", "The Apprentice", and "ER" with 9.2 million. FOX took third place with it's on-going coverage of "MLB Baseball: National League Championship" with 7.9 million.
ABC and WB were neck-in-neck, but ABC pulled it off with 5.8 million, and it's struggling line-up of "Alias", "Night Stalker", and "Primetime". WB's line up was episodes of "Smallville" and "Everwood" with 5.1 million.
UPN closed the night with "Everybody Hates Chris", "Love, Inc", "Eve", and "Cuts" (3.4 million). 'Chris' and 'Love' is doing well, but 'Eve' and 'Cuts' are struggling.

Netlet is a term for the non-cable, non-huge network, and UPN & WB fall in that category

NBC was next with 7.2 million and "Dateline NBC", "Three Wishes", and a repeat of "Law & Order: CI". Looks like you never should've cancelled Third Watch after all, huh?
FOX was third with 7.1 million and "MLB Baseball: American League Championship Series: Game 3". ABC was 4th with 6.7 million and new episodes of "Supernanny", "Hope and Faith", and the struggling "Hot Properties" (5.8 million), rounding out the night with "20/20"
UPN beat out WB with "WWE Friday Night SmackDown!", With 2.4 million, and WB ended the night with 1.8 million and "What I Like About You", "Twins", "Reba", and "Living With Fran"

15.7 Million for DH?, isn't it a lil low? I mean, the season premiered scored 30 million viewers, I think.

No, that is not 16 million for DH. That is the average of all the ABC shows from Sun night. 'Makeover' brought that average down much. [I think the 7PM airing did only about 8-9 million] I think Housewives got like 23-24 million Sunday night

Will and Grace aren't really trying much anymore. This is the finale season, the most effort all of them put out was that live episode, that didn't do so well.
Yes, Donald's Apprentice is down and he's blaming it on Martha, lol.
Yeah, Invasion is a tad boring. I mean, it did not live up to it's hype, esp. after having Lost as it's lead-in. It's doing only 10% better than Wife Swap at Wed. 10PM last season. They did order a full season, but if ratings keep dropping, I will bet they will drop it.
