They stan for the artist's personality, philanthropic contributions, etc. Most Britney fans aren't just invested in Britney professionally, but also emotionally. Most of us grew up with her and have followed through the girl through tje good times and the very bad.

Yes, my fave hasn't had a commercial hit since 2009. My fave is more than just some popstar, she's critically acclaimed and I respect her philanthropy work so much! She does extremely well internationally and is a global popstar and I'm okay with that!
