New characters this season!!!
The man casted as Hershel Greene is so creepy! Reminds me of the guy from Saw.

The Walking Dead has found its Otis.
Veteran actor Pruitt Taylor Vince, who recurred last season on The Mentalist as Internal Affair Agent LaRoche, will guest star on the AMC smash this fall as a character familiar to the graphic novel.
Otis is a good-natured and polite individual, who meets the survivors at a farm owned by a man named Herschell. He plays an important role on events to come.

The Walking Dead has cast a pair of key roles for season two.
First, Scott Wilson will come on board as Hershel Greene. The character plays a prominent role in the graphic novel series and owns a farm that has been ravaged by zombies. Rick and company will spend a lot of time there.
"He's a veterinarian with a great sense of humanity and a very unique take on the Walkers," Gale Anne Hurd tells TV Guide.
Lauren Cohan (The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Chuck) will also portray a member of the Greene family, Hershel's daughter Maggie.
Hurd describes her as a "survivor" and a "romantic interest" for Glenn.
Frank Darabont to No Longer Run The Walking Dead Show
Just days after I sat across from him at a Comic-Con round table, Frank Darabont has stepped down as showrunner on The Walking Dead.
Deadline Hollywood first reported the development and did not cite a specific reason, but Darabont hails from the world of movies. Many have speculated that work on a weekly series was simply a daily grind to which he was unaccustomed.
The Walking Dead Issues Statement on Showrunner Switch
Following the surprising news that Frank Darabont has stepped down as showrunner, The Walking Dead has released a statement that officially promotes Glen Mazzara to the position:
The Walking Dead’s Glen Mazzara, writer and executive producer, is expanding his responsibilities to assume the role of showrunner. AMC is grateful to executive producer, writer and pilot director Frank Darabont whose contributions to the success of The Walking Dead are innumerable. We continue to discuss his ongoing role with the series.
Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead graphic novels, executive producer and writer on the series, will remain in this role and will continue to steward the brand. Gale Anne Hurd will remain in her role as executive producer. The production continues on schedule for an Oct. 16 premiere.
