If they don't have a great list of performances..

Katy will sweep, Adele will win a few, and the main pop girls will be there and perform.

Katy will do very well and the show will have low ratings unless someone like Gaga performs

I never care to watch who actually wins the awards. My opinion, though, of the likely outcome is Katy sweeping. Adele will get a few here and there, but Katy is basically MTV's love child so her winning most of the categories she's nominated in, wouldn't be much of a surprise.
