Gerls, this is just the consequence of being MTV's darling.
They'll be ride-or-die for your fave one moment but then drop her for the next hottest thing in a second.
I think they might be sorely misinformed though if they think Adele and her non-existent stanbase will be pulling in the ratings that Gaga's could.
