Michael didn't win every award he was ever nominated for. In fact he only has 8 VMA's and he never won Video Of The Year or even Best Male Video. Most of his wins were in Choreography, Dance and other technical categories.

Madonna has an amazing longevity. Even after 25 years she was still getting nominations.
"4 Minutes" was nominated for Best Dancing Video in 2008.
