The mind of a stereotypical Britney fan
Quote:
Brit's already a legend. She doesn’t even need to do promotions and whatever first singles she releases DEBUT at #1.
|
That's why her songs usually last about 3 weeks in the charts. In fact, her cultural impact is such that I have a hard time remembering the name of the first single from FF, I'm not even joking.
Quote:
Sure, artists get their songs to #1 on charts, but for Britney, her singles and albums DEBUT at #1.
|
Gotta give that to him. She really is the only singer with #1 debuts.
Quote:
She’s reached the point of her career that whatever she releases is considered good and appreciated. That is the definition of being a legend and an icon.
|
A cultural icon can be a symbol, logo, picture, name, face, person, building or other image that is readily recognized and generally represents an object or concept with great cultural significance to a wide cultural group. A representation of an object or person, or that object or person may come to be regarded as having a special status as particularly representative of, or important to, or loved by, a particular group of people, a place, or a period in history.
Icon: A person or thing regarded as a representative symbol of something.
Icon: A picture or symbol that appears on a monitor and is used to represent a command, as a file drawer to represent filing.
So my guess is that being an icon doesn't necessarily make everything you release good.
Quote:
She’s been around for over a decade too and whenever she makes a performance, people bow down.

He's right, I bow down every time I see this... To hit my head against the floor wondering if that will make it go away. What's been seen can't be unseen.
Quote:
With highly influential celebs like Rihanna, Christina, Kylie Minogue, Snoop Dogg, Bieber, interested in doing duets with her, she’s still going strong.
|
Or maybe it's the only way she can get a top 5 hit?
Quote:
Party-hard celebs (ex. Paris, Kim, Nicole) who attended Britney’s Femme Fatale tour enjoyed her epic performance.
|
I do NOT want to see what he considers an awful performance.
Quote:
Britney brings hot music to fans all over the world and her tours are all exciting.
|
If you call standing up like you're high on weed and randomly wiping your hair exciting, then yes, that's Britney.
Quote:
She’s the only artist to perform with Michael Jackson and Madonna. Go Britney, you rock!
|
Is this true?
Quote:
She's back and I'm tired of those people saying she doesn't want to perform anymore. She clearly DOES want to, if she didn't she wouldn't even be on stage. It's just that she might be unstable and tired of her dad managing everything. In FF tour, Britney actually does some live singing and her dancing's pretty good, way better than her contemporaries. She rules!
|
You've been saying that for the past 3 albums and I'm pretty sure you guys will keep saying it until she dies or she retires. But I'm sure her next comeback will be even better!
Quote:
Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!Britney Army!

Always a classy touch.
So yes, we all know there are morons in all fan-bases, but for some reason I always seem to see more delusional morons of this kind in brit birt's army. Is it just me?

Implying I wouldn't do the same if I'd read a ridiculous comment of a Gaga fan and was in the mood to make a thread.
Besides, did I lie?

They come with every stanbase.
However, this does touch something else that bothers me.
I feel like just because I'm a monster, Brit stans ignore everything I say whether it be positive or negative.
Bah, whatever, I'm over it. @_@
