Thank you for reminding me about discrimination. Ummmm, fems are also discriminating. Go back a few pages and see how masculine gays are being called insecure, closeted and small-minded? Not only here but also in real life. You just cant accept when a gay guy has natural masculine traits. Am I wrong? I think not
|
Well, when you're acting insecure and close-minded all over the thread, that's the reaction you're gonna get.

I don't really like femininity in general... But I don't extreme masculinity ("macho") either. I'm neutral, not overtly masculine or feminine, and I prefer other people to be that way.

And how exactly was I insecure? If voicing my opinions in a civil manner and staying on topic is insecure, then by all means, call me insecure again.
Close-minded? Probably, but it's something I strongly believe in, and last time I checked I am entitled to my own beliefs

If I'm gay is because I like men... and I like my men to act like men (just like normal men, no need for macho things)

Some homosexuals feel that makeup, women's clothing, etc makes them feel more like who they are inside. Yes, it does attract negative attention, but that's their business. Telling them to stop just because it might have negative consequences is like telling women to stop wearing makeup and questionable outfits in order to prevent rape.
As Madonna once said, "Express yourself, don't repress yourself."

Right. victim-blaming is not the way to go.
And even if fem gays didn't exist, people would still find a reason to hate gays based on some other ignorant stereotype anyways.

5. They think you automatically have to **** them because you're masc
6. They listen to annoying music
7. They are obsessed with fashion
8. They have a tendency to draw unwanted attention when you're around them
9. They cry, scream, and bitch about nothing
10. they all want to be taken seriously when clearly they're just a joke of themselves.
To be honest, Im only able to deal with a board full of fems because I cant see or hear any of you.
And yes, all this comes from personal experience. The day I meet ONE fem that doesnt meet any of the above criteria, is the day I will accep them

Let me get the **** OUT of this thread.
Y'all are ****ing ignorant. We're supposed to be reaching towards equality together, not separated because we're annoying. ****. AND we're the ones who get the most hate from ****ING STRAIGHT PEOPLE. Do we really need fellow gays ating too?
Btw your little list generalizes so much and is wrong in so many ways. Who are you to judge some one's taste in music with you avi? No shade to Rihanna but pop music these days is pretty frowned upon by music snobs.

I have nothing against them.
I used to say I HATE them and they disgust me - which was true, but then I had a friend who was a bit feminine, and we became really good friends. He talks feminine, but lord if he puts on lipstick or that ****, I wouldn't even think about befriending him

My take on it - and this is a generalization - is that the "over the top" & overly effeminate gay community DO bring the gay community down & tarnish our chances of acceptance & equality.
When people go to gay pride parades what do they see other than coked up, sex crazed Queen's in skimpy outfits, drunk off their faces, dancing on floats?
Highly effeminate gays - again a generalization - are often the ones who tend to be hyper-sexual, shallow, superficial, bitchy & basically, allow their sexuality to define every single aspect of their lives. This is often the only side people see of the gay community because these scene Queen's won't shut the **** up & sit down for a minute to allow the world to understand that sex, partying & shopping aren't what we're all about.
So no. I will not be thanking the fems. And I'm not a self hating gay man, I'm out & very proud of who I am - so don't pull that ******** on me after reading this.
The fact is - this stereotypical image of "what a gay man should be" is what is holding us back.
It's quite hilarious that fem gays complain about how much harder they "fight" & how masc gays are somehow all. "self hating" & taking the back seat. That's just as judgmental & self-hating as a "masc gay" hating on Queens. No ones holding a gun to your head forcing you to walk out in booty shorts - that is a choice you made, man up & accept the consequences. It's ridiculous. Your "freedom of expression" is ridiculous. Don't pretend like you don't know you look ridiculous & attention-seeking.
It's annoying when people assume I'd want to go shopping with them or someshit.
I don't have anything against anybody - I just don't particularly like how that shade of our community operates.
