I don't know. I feel like it just didn't have that impact to be the VOTY. I prefer it out of all the videos this year, but I think someone else will win.
It's hard to understand what I mean, but if she doesn't win it this year she has a bigger chance to do it next year. And she'll probably have a better video by then, which deserves it more.

Some interesting points:
Lady Gaga may be appearing on some late night talk shows in the next few weeks
She may have a surprise on SYTYCD next week
She will release the video & single ALL AT ONCE at the same time.

A video premiere at an award show? I don't know if she would wait until the end of August for next single. She may premiere it like mid-August and then perform the song at VMAs

i have watched it quite a few times lately and i cant believe i didnt love it at the beginning as much as i do now. the intro is amazing imo and tbh i think it will get more nominations than judas.

I think that would get a lot of press and would be a great way to start the release of the single! The VMA's get a lot of press WW and so do her videos. It would be genius.
I still love the idea, that she releases the single together with the video! That means we'll probably won't know it until it's released.

I see it winning some technical awards.

Also, not so sure about Y&I being the next single. She keeps mentioning it's her "favorite song" on all the interviews she's been doing, and yet she won't spill anything about the next single. The next single has got to be something else...
