Bee is just saying that she has an alter ego that allows her to not become nervous on stage. She GETS LOOSE on stage and she is nothing like that in real life. Me having seen SO MANY interviews can tell. She is..and I know some may not believe..but she really is a shy country girl. She isnt justifying it. She is not saying...I would never do that..but Sasha would. She is just saying she goes into Sasha so she would lose her nervousness...that is all.

That's fair enough but explaining yourself is trying justifying the actions, that doesn't make them wrong or right entirely, it's just giving your version of it. There's nothing wrong with having an alter-ego, but from what I saw in the rest of thread and in general, it's been used to explain 'questionable' behaviour rather then just being able to perform and not be nervous in front of a crowd but then, different sources tell different stories. What I didn't follow is how the Sasha/Be thing was related to interviews, because she was fine in interviews before so why would she be quiet now, why wouldn't she use Sasha her alter ego to talk in them if she is shy, especially when it seems she did before. What I was saying is that to me, the interview thing itself seems to do with something other then her alter ego and probably (only probably because there could be another reason) due the other members getting more time.

I dont know how she is using Sasha to explain things. She just goes n2 that mode when she performs. I mean...it would be DUMB to be Sasha in interviews because it is not her. On stage..she needs to have force and to do that she got "Sasha" and when Sasha comes out you KNOW. Beyonce fans can tell when it is "Sasha: on stage or when it is "Beyonce". There is a difference because when it is Bee she seems a lil nervous.

But yeah she talk..but that is it. She still is shy. Yall should have seen Bee on Oprah when she won those Grammys...she was actin like she was 8 sometimes. She is truly a shy person. She has always been like that.

Ok then, in terms of how she used Sasha to explain things, I remember a good while back on the board someone posted a thread about it either in the Lounge or Music forum where she was being accused of being hypocritical about being very christian and yet do the job she does in the way she does it. They weren't saying that she couldn't be both, just that the way her and/or her father talks about being god fearing people and then so outrageous in their work and he said something and she brought up Sasha and that's how I remember it coming into the limelight commericially for people who aren't big fans. It was abit confusing when you said her fans know when she is being the alter ego and when she's being herself. Does that mean that she can only be quiet and shy but when she's charismatic and overly sexual, she is Sasha? Can't she be that as Beyonce or would that just be in private and off screen? I guess you have to be an expert fan or psycologist to estimate without actually knowing her personally or be in her mind

Adora..it is hard to explain but on stage she really is Sasha. That is when she is Sasha. She has never done anything wrong with against religion and she has said that w/o mentioning Sasha. Its not her fault that the "so called" Christians are judging her. But honestly..Sasha only comes out on stage to keep her from being nervous.

The invention of this Sasha persona was very clever. It makes self-deception easier for the fans.

That was so dumb. The sole reason she has an alter ego is because she gets nervous on stage and Sasha helps her lose her nervous. It is like she has a character on and she gets into it on when she goes 2 stage.

I remember during her Diary when she was about 2 perform at the 2003 VMAs...she was snapping her fingers and was like Sashas comin on and then she gave an AMAZING performance.
