For the most part, men are almost ALWAYS the perpetrators of rape (even for male victims). This law in China sounds more like it's about ignoring homosexuality.

Umm this is true in the US, too. Technically there's no rape law. Someone can be convicted of sexual assault, but not rape.

But isn't china and a lot of Asia one of the regions that had accept homosexuality a lot less than the western world? I know a few of my friends from china said that it's not exactly "accepted" by many people there? Not sure though.
