Are you pansexual? I don't know anybody who identifies themselves as such so I don't know much about it. I have a friend who's bisexual though and she is also completely against all gender categories; would she be considered pansexual?

I think she'd be considered pansexual, but what really matters is if she is blind to the sexuality of the person.
actually a few of my friends claim to be pansexual.
in order to understand pansexuality we need to make some things clear such as gender binary & difference between sex and gender.
it does sound convincing but we're all either men or women. it's rather simple.
at the end of the day its just a smart, more complex way of saying i'm bisexual.
Anyways, pansexuality just means you don't consider gender a criterion when choosing a mate. I think I'm polysexual in that gender matters to me, but I can be attracted to guys, girls, people of various intersex conditions, and transsexuals (but not exactly bi or pan). Maybe I should make my own thread.
