I agree with Kim being a better lyricist. However I don't know if I would say Nicki has a better flow or delivery. She's just more animated, nothing more. When it comes down to it though, if you take away all the animation and theatrics that come with her delivery, in a lot of her rhymes she's really not saying anything. She used to be so good though. I really wish she would drop this whole mainstream act she has going on and go back to her Come Up DVD type of flow or even how she rapped on her mixtape. She used to **** so much harder

Lies. All of Nicki's lyrics mean something. Just because you can't understand the metaphors, doesn't mean they aren't there.
And why would you take Nicki's animation away from her? That IS her delivery. That's like taking away Mariah's whistles. Nicki's delivery IS better than Kim. Kim sounds like she's taking a **** with every word. Look at Nicki's Monster verse, the way she effortlessly changes personalities in her voice midline. Kim could never.

Nicki's flow and delivery are way better than Kim's. The lyricism is very debatable but I personally find Kim's to be worse.
I think Nicki has matured and that's why her image is the way it is now. She's not that ghetto girl anymore, for lack of a better term.

I just think she's just trying to appeal more to the masses and the pop demographic as opposed to the urban and by doing so, she's had to soften up and "cuten" her image. Understandable to say the least but I still prefer her older self when she used to go 10x harder as opposed to this half-singing in every song, boom ba doom doom dun dun Nicki. Just my opinon.
