My first thread, Mistaken Lyrics had so many high expectation, from me. I though that **** would sky-rocket to like 6 or 10 pages. Let's be real, who doesn't mishear lyrics, especially from their fave.
Reason why I think it flopped:
I'm new, though I made this account in 2010. Also because I have less than 150 posts.
I think it might have flopped because it has been done several times before. Nothing wrong with doing it again, but people who participated in a similar thread last time, didn't participate this time I think.
Besides a few of my retarded threads that I just make to get a point across (and expect to flop)... I try to contribute to the forum but can't catch a break. And whenever I do take off, it gets closed when it's actually appropriate.
My most successful thread was about dick. Figures.

Well my "Gaga shades Katy", "Born This Way album sales are flopping" & "Is Ke$ha the new Queen of Pop?" were kinda popular, but most of my Katy threads flopped.
This thread isn't exactly about your past flop threads (we recently had a discussion on that in Polygon2z's thread). Its about some original thread ideas that you have but you don't want to start them because you think they're destined to flop.
If you share these ideas, others will be able to provide feedback and maybe tell you that your idea is not as floppy as you might think and encourage you to start it.

Oh yeah I saw this thread..I think the problem is when every stanbase posted their fav's fave there's nothing to talk about anymore.But I liked the idea.
I'm thinking about starting a thread called Textually Abusing _______
Where we ask a member some personal questions so we get to know each other and call us by our names. When the person has answered all the questions. that person gets to choose the next person to be textually abused. You can ask for photos, videos, etc... it's up to the textually abused to bring them or not.
I don't see why it floped to. But oh well, I think it's not the reason you are new. It's just you know...some stuff sounds good in our head but not in the head of others.
Let's be real, who doesn't mishear lyrics, especially from their fave.
