Rihanna talks Chris Brown aftermath

Quote:
Rihanna has already spoken out about Chris Brown a number of times.
She’s talked with Diane Sawyer, opened up to Rolling Stone, and (allegedly) tweeted about the R&B singer as well. In the August issue of Cosmopolitan U.K., Rihanna again speaks out about their breakup, but this time, the conversation is not centered around Brown—it is about her own attitude following their very public split.
Rihanna claims that dating has been tough since Brown: “It can definitely be intimidating to guys to date someone in this industry,” she says. ”It’s really hard to find a guy who doesn’t care about that stuff. Right now, it’s easier just having my career to focus on.”
“I’m open to love,” she continues, “But guys should have to earn it. Because the minute they get it, they want something else,” the singer explains.
Dating might be difficult, anyway, since the pop singer admits that openness is not her strong suit: “I’ve always been good at masking my emotions. For me, it’s tougher to be vulnerable than to be tough.”
That sentiment appears to have been exacerbated by her assault, which left Rihanna feeling understandably angry. She remarks, “It was a very aggressive and defensive time, and that allowed me to start not giving a s–t. I walked around with a very f–k-you attitude.”
Not much to object to here, Music Mixers—I think we would all agree that Rihanna’s feelings make sense, right?
She’ll probably be forced to talk about her ex in interviews for years to come, but at least she handles those questions with what seems like genuine honesty—and a lot of patience, considering how much she would likely prefer to move on from that time in her life. Readers, do you agree?

IDK why these women keep dating Rappers/Athletes, ughh. She would look so cute with Shia though.

No, you're right. Rihanna was the one that was hurt, but she handles the situation with ease. Chris needs to man up and stop getting so upset so easily.

Another repetitive thread with the same sobbing, shade, tired material and arguments on its way.

I feel for her.
But I think it's a good idea to focus on your career right now.

It is obviously a lot more annoying for Rihanna to be constantly bombarded with these questions than it is for you to have to see a thread about it a few times a year.
It wasn't even a Rihanna fan who posted the article so evidently people find it interesting.
Nobody forced you to read it, so just leave, and don't click on the next one

Yeah, I think it's less about whether she chooses to talk about it, rather more that she keeps getting asked about it. People need to move on. God knows Rihanna's trying to, if she hasn't already.
I imagine it will be quite tough on whoever will be dating her though. He (or she, I don't discriminate) will have to be very very cautious, while she will always need to keep her guard up and might understandably avoid being too trusting, because of what happened a few years back.

EXACTLY! And it's silly that you got reported for that, because it's nothing but truth.

A Beyoncé stan posted it. And if you didn't want to read it, then why did you come into this thread?

Although I would prefer to never hear about the incident or her relationship with Chris ever again, I'm glad that she handles the interviews with class. She doesn't bash him or harbor any negative feelings. I can completely understand why she had that "**** you" attitude, and why she is more open and honest now than ever before. Though, sometimes the "**** you" attitude gets her in trouble and seems contrived at times. But, I love her and I'm really glad that she has let the incident go and is trying to move on with her life. I can only imagine how difficult it must be dating when you're rich and famous.

Must she repeat herself a billion times? I swear she has said this on numerous occasions already? How many times is she going to say the same damn thing over and over? WE GET IT. We got it the first 25 times and the bunch of times after that for the past three years. Time to find something new to talk about because this question and answer is played.
