I think people will definitely remember "To The Left, To The Left" more than "ella ella eh eh eh" but I voted for Umbrella, that song made Rihanna's career. I honestly believe without it Rihanna would've end up like Teairra Marí :-/

This is easy. Umbrella had impact in the music industry and also marked RIhanna's arrival. Irreplaceable, whilst very memorable, did not do that for Beyonce.

Crazy In Love was and still is, Beyonce's most iconic song. This comparision is a little weak but Umbrella wins.

Ain't nobody said that. It's not like if you said "Ella ella ella eh eh eh", people would be like, WTF?

HOWEVER, NO one references Umbrella anymore. Damn near literally, No one. Whereas Irreplaceable still gets referenced, it's not uncommon in 2011 to hear "to the left".

Are u serious? Irreplaceable is more iconic. It's heavily referenced today in movies and pop culture etc, and everywhere she goes they know every single lyric... I think Umbrella has a higher chance of being forgotten.
