You know, knowing Bachmann, she probably didn't even research the subject. She is probably as much of an expert on black lives in 1860's America as Amy Winehouse is an expert on staying sober.
As for the idea of posting a new thread, I don't think so, unless more people would discuss this otherwise, which they REALLY should, because I find this to be much worse than the original topic. Personally, I would be for reworking this into the official "Michele Bachmann is the Antichrist" thread. And I doubt anyone would be against that change.
