He changed his mind a few days later and enthusiastically supported the amendment.
● 2004: Pawlenty said it is vital that states avoid “leapfrogging”” same-sex marriage; in March, the Minnesota House passed the amendment.
● 2009: Pawlenty told Newsweek’s Howard Fineman that the 1993 act was “overbaked” and “not worded the way it should be” because it protected cross-dressers “and a variety of other people involved in behaviors that weren’t based on sexual orientation.” Pawlenty theorized, “[I]f you are a third-grade teacher and you are a man and you show up on Monday as Mr. Johnson and you show up on Tuesday as Mrs. Johnson, that is a little confusing to the kids.”
● 2010: Pawlenty vetoed a bill that would “allow a surviving same-sex partner to sue to recover damages in the case of wrongful death and to execute a deceased partner’s funeral wishes.” Pawlenty cited his personal opposition to same-sex marriage as he vetoes the legislation.

Yes, unemployment is getting higher and higher, but not because there are no jobs available. A few people that work get very lazy and decide to quit their jobs because they would it would be a great lifestyle not being able to do any work, not having any stress, and getting payed easily! Luckily, my family and I know that by people of god, we believe that people must work their hardest each day to earn all the food, shelter, and other resources they need.

I do follow politics. It's a wide spectrum, I don't keep up with what goes on in Minnesota. I was assuming you assumed he hated gays because he was a Republican. It's good to know you have the facts. And besides that, just because somebody doesn't approve of gay marriage doesn't mean they hate gay people.

- False, any states don't allow people to collect unemployment if you quit your job. You must be laid off. If you are fired, many states require a waiting period before you're able to collect unemployment.

I agree with the second part, I should have said that they've never even had a job yet because they aren't trying to.

But for the first part, it is there fault that they didn't get a job in the first place. They had a turning point in their lives (probably once they moved out of their parent's house) to choose to do nothing and get payed for it. And now they have no other choice but to be on welfare.
