When I joined gifs were barely used, and it was definitely much friendlier than now. There weren't so many sex related discussions as there are now ( by now I mean the whole 2011) and people didn't take other people's comments so seriously. It feels like now people cannot distinguish the difference between a sarcasm and a real opinnion.

I find those statistics scary, and I agree with your last statement. There are so many new people every month that it has became overwhelming for me!. I think the last time I met and talked with someone new was in 2010.
Also, it seems to me that now many of the new members write or post just the same phrases over and over again to piss somebody off, and that's starting to be boring.
