So ****ing off topic.
I find it hilarious that Gaga is harping about meaningless metaphors. She's built an entire career on this idea that everything she says/does is highly conceptual, and in reality it's about 50% metaphor that supports a solid idea and 50% convoluted styling and rhetoric with no real purpose. And that's the honest ****ing truth. In terms of lyricism, I don't really feel as though she's that reliant on metaphors, but at the end of the day her style of songwriting still ends up being just as meaningless and nonsensical as any fluffy, like-a-plastic-bag-in-the-wind metaphor. Dumb dumb dumb.
