This is the kind of album that could go either way to be honest. Beyonce has gone out of her way to really have no pop hits on this album, so that is a strike against her right there, which could really hurt sales. But, then again she is such a major force in the industry and has such a large fanbase that I don't think they will allow her albums to flop.
I know one thing is for sure: The HDD Album Thread will be a good read the last week of this month, no matter the results.
4 won't sell as much as her last releases simply because there are no hits. I see her selling I Look To You numbers honestly. WW her sales won't be good IMO as R and B doesn't usually tend to shift albums on a worldwide scale.
It might just because the tracks are a lot different than what we hear today. But this album is definitely for people who are tired of hearing most dance pop today. Too bad there is not too many of those people. I really hope it will get as least 3,000,000 copies.

I think it will underperform. I see it selling somewhere in the 1-2M range in the US. and 2.5-3.5M range World wide.
I'm not going to feed into the doom and gloom in this thread, but I honestly do not know how it will perform worldwide. She has posted a "Crazy in Love"/"Single Ladies"/"If I Were a Boy" type hit yet. So, it's really up in the air.
Tbh, RTW flopped in U.S, not around the world.I think her album will flop in U.S, maybe not flop, but possibly a similar run to FF.

it's not even about being cranky, some of these polls are starting to get repetitive and the unncessary shade constantly being thrown is enough to make people irritated. like can we wait for the damn album to drop before talking about flopping.
Not to be negative, but I can easily see this album flopping in the U.S. If i didn't visit atrl (or any other music/blog site) i wouldn't have the slightest knowldege that she's even releasing an album in a few weeks.
