I never got any MIA vibes from Countdown... Countdown does have a strange instrumental, but MIA was always more electronic I thought...

M.I.A. does a lot of that crazy drum tempo-changing and some of her more iconic songs have strong horn bits to them.

And M.I.A. basically brought in this hardcore-female-rap style that everyone's on now. I ain't even being pressed, I think it's fly as hell. Like, check out things like World Town.
