I like how Beyonce very calmly did her thing with this album. This is the first time I closely pay attention to her b/c she's been largely inactive during my time on ATRL. And I didn't pay attention before ATRL.

I thought 4 would flop. Most people did. And you can't blame them for thinking it.

But even while her singles were floundering, she didn't get desperate. She didn't remix them or show any signs of panic. She just seemed cool, collected, confident.

In a changing music market, she showed she can stay relevant without resorting to things that some of her contemporaries have (I won't name names or give examples but you probably know what I'm taking about ).

Even if this album ultimately fails to match the numbers of her previous ones, she proved why she is a star.

The unstoppable musical force that is Beyonce Knowles dropped by ‘Good Morning America’ earlier today to promote her new album, “4.”

The songstress performed as part of the GMA Summer Concert Series as she whipped fans into a frenzy with her energetic show.

She beamed a brilliantly as the sunshine in New York City wearing a canary yellow Mark Fast knit web-like dress with a fringed skirt.

The gorgeous dress was paired with Stuart Weitzman gold stripe Swarovski crystal ‘Ventipave’ pumps and gold hooped earrings.

That really made me love her a lot more. She still has this "Im the best, Im the most talented and I know that" personality that I dont really like, but I think you kind of need that.

That bitch needs to back the hell up. She is EVERYWHERE. And she REALLY looked like a tranny when she was watching the Girls video towards the end.

I agree with you, I think she's just maturing as an artist & letting her music speak for it self, she's not worried about sales this era for sure and I'm happy about that

I was wrong about this album. The more I listen to it, the more I love it. Just bought the deluxe version. I live and breathe for the first five tracks. <3
