Despite of what Kim ,Trina Lauryn Hill, etc were rapping about, None of their music was as Pop and commercial as Nicki's which was the point.
As i said before, her album was 30% rap, and 70% pop.
Despite of WHAT they were rappimg about, just the production alone on Nicki's album was more pop than the women I mentioned.

My point is this: how is it that Lil Kim's rapping about sex over a hiphop produced beat = REAL rap over what Nicki raps over a pop inspired beat which has much more substance in terms of her rapping. Like Im still stuck on why you label them as REAL rap just because the production is hiphop 0_o
