"For people who are still confused about where the single news came from. I asked her about it when I met her this past saturday. Here is the short conversation we had about it (word for word):
Me: "Do you know anything about the new single?"
Kelly: "Yeah! Umm it was pushed back until August. It was suppose to be out the 3rd week of July but now sometime in August. *Rolls eyes*"
So third week of july. Well then it really isn't a month pushed back. Maybe we will get a first or second week of august release ?
Could this be Kelly Clarkson's first single? Ever since the the snippets of "Let Me Down," leaked, rumors have been circulating that this song will serve as Kelly's first official single, and now a song with the same exact title has been cataloged in BMI Repertoire's listings.
If this listing is indeed Kelly Clarkson's first single, it was written by Angela Hunte, who wrote NY-themed anthem "Empire State of Mind" and Livvi Franc, who penned Britney's "Trouble For Me," and Syience more than likely credited with the guitar instrumentals (he played the guitar in Beyonce's "If I Were a Boy"). Keep in mind this is not 100% confirmed, but it is extremely likely.
Kelly Clarkson has already confirmed that she is working with Tobias "Toby" Gad as a producer on her fifth studio album and coincidentally, he worked on Beyonce's "If I Were a Boy" with Syience. It looks like Toby might be the producer of the first single.
That will NOT push up the album, it will just be a total FLOP.
