Andy may have grown up, but it appears the story of Woody and Buzz Lightyear will go on.

Tom Hanks, who voices the star of the franchise, cowboy Woody, revealed another "Toy Story" is in the early stages.


"I think there will be, yeah," Tom told the BBC's Tim Muffet, after being asked if a fourth installment is in the works. "Yeah, yeah, think they're working on it now. There you go."

"Toy Story 3" ended with a grown-up Andy passing his toys on to a neighbor's child before he left for college.

I think 3 was enough. I don't want them to ruin the series with a mediocre sequel.

I just hope they don't try to draw it out just for the sake of drawing it out... I liked the idea of them ending it as a trilogy.

No thank you. Toy Story 3 really wrapped things up perfectly and I don't see how they can take it any further. I have confidence that they wouldn't ruin the franchise, though.

The last one was great, but I don't know how they will continue on with the plot.

I really don't want them to ruin this series, but at the same time I'm excited.

Andy is grown and I don't see how they can fit him into another one, the story will probably just continue with the kid who got the toys in the end.

That girl or whoever Andy gave the toys to could be the new Andy and the story could pretty much go anywhere from there.

I should be against this since the first three were so fantastic, but I'm not. Not yet, anyway. I was extremely against Toy Story 3 and it's now my favorite of the movies.
