BEYONCE has beefed up security before her Glasto headlining slot tonight after a crazed stalker threatened to KILL her.
Organisers are introducing a "ring of steel" cordon around the star over fears that wacky British fan Bassey Essien - banned from going near her - could enter the site at Worthy Farm. He had tried to give Bey a book of religious ramblings at a London function two years ago.
It's the first time she has returned to England since then and she's brought hubby JAY-Z along for support.
Bey, who's also performing in London on Monday night, has been holed up at posh Somerset hotel Babington House and will helicopter to the mud-drenched site just hours before performing.
Last night a source told me: "Bey will not come into contact with the public before she is on stage. And the security presence there is going to be huge - bigger than it was for U2 or COLDPLAY."
Bey closing the festival has been much criticised-but I think she'll send it off in style.
