So I was hanging with my friend yesterday and she has the new iPhone. She was taking pictures and I was surprised with the quality. It's HD, and the quality was literally perfection. Today, I called the Apple store does the iTouch have this function, and if so do they have it in that quality, and she said yes, it's identical to the iPhone, except without the phone.

So now, the only thing left is... Should I buy it?
Only reason that's stopping me is that....

1. It's almost September, and that's when they release the new products
2. If they release the new iTouch in Sept (which I'm 99% sure), if it's smaller/thinner gurl I'll be pissed
3. The quality is amazing, and you can switch the camera view to shoot in front of you, but when you do that the quality turns to some bad camera quality phone.

Anyway, to the people who have the latest iTouch: what's your review on it?

it does NOT have the same photo camera.


its camera is all about the video & photos are basically just screencaps of the video.

you dont need ANYTHING smaller & thinner than the 4g, believe me.

so, back camera = front camera on the ipt4.

The only reason why I wanted to buy the iTouch is because I needed a camera and an iPod (I have the square nano and need more space). So, when looking at my friends iPhone with the amazing quality, I thought I should just get the iTouch (iPod + Camera = exactly what I was looking for) Maybe they will update it this Sept then

I recommend it, if you want it, get 16 or 32 gb

UPDATE!

So yeah... I now *need* an iPod. Yesterday, my $110 head phones were broken. So today I went to replace them ($90). Turns out, it wasn't the head phones that were broken... It was my iPod. So now I just wasted $90 bucks on headphones (can't return it, opened/used them, hence I realized it was my iPod that was broken).

So what should I do???? September is approaching, but I need an iPod

What pisses me off more is that my cousin tried selling me a brand new 64 GB iTouch (4th gen/latest one) for $200. I said no, it's too much, plus I hate iTouch. A few months later, I see an iPhone/iTouch, and actually like it. A few weeks later, I realize how much they cost. Should have gotten the 64gb for $200, because you can't even buy the cheapest iTouch for $200.

Do you have an old iPod/Mp3 player you can use for now? Because honestly I would wait for the 5th generation since it's only two months away, but I understand you want music because I listen to my iPod literally ALL THE TIME.

Tha cheapest iTouch is $199. It's tha 16GB 3rd generation tho. Just saw it at Toys R Us tha other day

No. you should wait for their new product line with me. I'm getting an iPhone 5. I have an iPod touch 4th generation and it's nice, but the new generation will 100 percent be nicer.

If you NEED an iPod right now, get the iPod shuffle. It's super cheap, as far as iPods go.
